Daphne Wilcox is
a cop, a good cop, a cautious cop. Her partner, Trigger, is a K9. She left
her last partner and lover five years before because he was reckless and
carefree. The thought of watching him die scared her. Her secret desire to
become the very same daredevil she was afraid of, scared her more.
When Constable
Bryce Ramsey is framed for murder, Daphne comes to his rescue. She knows

Being forced to

When framing
Bryce fails, the true killer sets out to take Bryce's life, and Daphne
becomes his main target. Can Trigger sniff out the felon in time? Together
the three make a fierce team of cops who will stop at nothing to save each
